MC18 Warm up

Sat Feb 24, 2007 8:31 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi
I've just bought an MC18 and it seems to take more than 4-5 miles to warm up. Just wondering if this is a dodgy thermostat?

I'm ordering a new thermostat anyway!

Riding in to London (about 14 miles) and it sometimes doesn't get above the 1st marker on the guage which I guess is 50 degrees

It depends how you're riding it really. At this time of year, if you're riding it gently or commuting, it may well not get above 50 over a 14 mile journey... If you're ragging it like freak, then yeah, could well be problems...!
