Yes they are the same gaskets.

When they are new they are quite abit thicker than used one so it doenst need to be any larger out side dia as once the cans are tightened up to the pipe there is a very good seal.

From memory the gasket is about 2mm smaller OD then the can is ID.

Yes stephen thats right, only one silencer is not sealing properly and it doesn't matter if i swap gaskets around, why Honda went to the trouble of machining out rk5 silencer 2mm bigger and not making a gasket to suit seems a bit pointless Confused
Is there a gasket sealer you can buy?
Will mc 21 gaskets fit?

Why did they put a gasket there at all is the question.

Can`t you just fit two gaskets to the leaky side? Or will it not pull down with two on?

Two would be much to thick.

A new gasket should do the trick as when they are new they are close to 2mm too big and take quite abit to compress, this gives a really good seal. Once they have been removed once though they will almost always leak.
