Motul 600?

Sat Jul 15, 2006 5:57 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Just went to my local supplier only to find that Motul 600 no longer exists! I know quite a few people on this forum have been using it too. I think it has been replaced by 710. Can anyone confirm this? My supplier wasn't quite sure and didn't have any 710 at the moment.

yes, 710 is the fully-synthetic, injector-friendly replacement. I've been using it for about a month with no issues.

I use it too. What I'm more concerned about is does it still cost the same?

It seems to be fashion these days to change the packaging of you product and increase the price, or decrease the size of the package and charge the same.

But the smell is important Very Happy

i beleive its the same stuff. I've been using it for a couple months now and havent had any issues. Its cool cos it comes in gallons now. All oils have been going up in price cos of this whole oil war thingy. Dont know why the synthetics are affected though? Rolling Eyes

Samk, yes it looks and smells the same to me - price is approx. $11 per liter at the local shop - I haven't had a chance to shop for a better price yet.
