Hopefully my bike will be ready soon, so i've been getting a few quick quotes online.

Best i've had so far was with H&R giving £151 fully comp.

Just wondered who the rest of you UK guys use?

Thanks
Scott

I have 0 NCB, so i'm happy enough with the quote.

If i limit the annual milage to 3,000 miles, it'll drop to £138 comp.

Mines £240 fully comp. That's with EVERYTHING listed, forks, yokes, brakes, 300 kit, paintjob etc... They're CIA and the only company I phoned out of about 35 who would sniff at it! Shocked

I use e bike, ive both my NSR's and my 05 R6 on the same policy and it was £540 fully comp,Im 35 and had 1 years no claims,it was £500 for the R6 and when I added the NSR's it went up £40,for every 8 months your with them you get a years no claims and can do it on a pay as you go scheme, in the winter when your off the road you can change it to just cover it being in the garage,You can add other riders to ride you bike,if you need to ride one of your mates bikes or something you can add that as well even if you only riding their bike for an hour but you can have their bike on your policy for any length of time and this is all done on line ,if you take in to account that Carol Nash wanted £1000 to insure my R6 and another £150 for one of my NSR's then I am very happy paying £540 for all 3 bikes.

The online quotes are usually a little out, give them a call as they spent a whole day trying to tailor the policy and kept ringing me to to reduce the quote initially. Asking if I smoked, carried pillions etc...

To which you no doubt answered, "yes" and "no" respectively! Wink

It's an NSR, and only has one seat... for those a little slow on the irony!!

My Traders policy sets me back £700 TPFT with Caole Nash and covers me for ALL cars, vans and Motorcycles .This worked out cheaper for me as my car insurance was £380 .Plus its difficult to get multiple bike policies that cover 7 plus bikes, I can also ride any Motorcycle which is loaned to me aswell .
