Rear wheel sizes

Hi all

I am carrying out a supermoto conversion on my CRM 250 and am using CBR 250 RR wheels(same as MC21).

Could someone who owns a MC21 check the size of thier back wheel, the one I have got from a breakers yard is marked up as a 250 rear, but I suspect it is off a CBR 400.

I have one that is marked up 17mt4.00, I think the 250 was fitted with a 3.5 but I am not sure.

Actually, I think most the NSR rear wheels are 4.5 X 17.

CBR250 was 4.00x17
NSR was:
'88: 4.00x18
'89: 4.5x18
'90-93: 4.5x17

The '94-'98's aren't applicable to the job, 'cos they come off a bike with a single sided swinger
