How to align the rear wheel ?

Of course I can align reasonable using the marks on the adjusters, but is there a correct way of doing it ?

Factory adjustment marks are not always accurate. You can do it the poor mans way and use some string and a little imagination.

This site used to have really good pics, but I dont know what happened to them. http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mcnuts/chassis.html

I use a vernier gauge and take postion from the swingarm itself, rather that the adjustment markings.
