Dry clutch noise

Thu Mar 30, 2006 2:01 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hey all,
I have search the forum and found a few posts on the dry clutch, but I am trying to find out if it's normal for it to make a light tinging sound (ting ting ting) when the bike is not in gear and at low idle? I can slightly pull in the clutch and right before it engages it goes away and then makes the usual dry clutch noise. The bike runs great no slipping and always goes into gear, it just went over 6900kms. Is this something to worry about? Thanks

You can even play tunes with it at the traffic lights. And for extra amusement you can look at all the worried faces of the other motorists as they wait for your bike to explode. Wink
