NSR-WORLD Track Day - Date Sorted!...

Fri Mar 24, 2006 6:14 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Friday 28th July.

OK, through no-one's fault, trying to appease as many people as possible means the dates we were considering have been booked already, so a decision was made today, and Friday July 28th was booked.

The cost for the day will be £85 (+5% for PayPal booking - £89.25).

The format for the day is still undecided, but it is likely there will be two groups and timed sessions in the morning, and pretty much an "open pit lane" in the afternoon.

The number of places will be limited to 25~30 give everyone the maximum track time possible.

It's a 2-stroke day and therefore all 2-stroke applications receive priority, but 4-strokes (specifically import 250/400's) can come and join in. Don't expect not to get a little stick from the 250 guys though!! Smile

Please book as early as possible to guarantee a place, and to help cover the large deposit I have already had to pay! Smile

Please post comments and intentions below.

Cheers!

OK, 29th is booked up on the GT Performance dyno.

The Dyno Day will cost £20, or £15 if booked at the same time as the Track Day.

The format for each bike will be as follows:

1 x warm-up/clearing run
1 x power/torque run
1 x through the gears/plug chop in 6th

The bike will then be rolled out, and the next one in. Changes can be made according to the dyno print-out/results/plugs, and then re-run if necessary. You will get as many runs as the day will physically allow! The dyno will run from 9am to 5pm, and we are aiming for about 15 bikes please.

2-strokes ONLY for the dyno.

Payment for either/both days can be made by cheque, bank transfer, or PayPal (+5%).

Track Day & Dyno Day = £100
Track Day only = £85
Dyno Day only = £20

Not much in it as we're not out to make bundles of cash, but just organise a cracking weekend like last time!! Very Happy

A form will be e-mailed with each application for each participant to list their modifications. This helps speed up the process drastically as all the base settings can be input on the system before the event.

Sunday will be a Ride Out to the Atlantic Coast again, which will be free to join in with, although should you wish to make a Website donation via the link on the Home Page to say thanks, then that will be warmly welcomed!! Smile

Please e-mail me for payment details.

Cheers!

I will of course be at the trackday, Dyno day, and bike allowing ride out day.

I think as per last time there will be limited space at my Hotel which is just 6 miles from the Dyno. Every man for himself, bring your own sleeping bags.

Cowardice!.....besides being tight with money, I don't fancy riding up there...thrashing around the track....then riding all the way back again.

Basically I have no sense of adventure......

Well if Leighs going then I'd better sign up too. He'll need someone to drive him down and to act as a 'draft excluder' Razz
