MC18

Hi all
I use my MC18 as race machine only. Runs premix, Tyga pipes and bodywork. Question is, is there any need for a thermostat in the cooling system? Run distilled water, flushed after every meet, as is gearbox oil changed. Using Castrol 4T.

We remove it on all the race bikes, as long as the bike is warmed up before riding shouldnt cause any trouble.

Well that was quick Stephen!
Thanks. A lol for readers. Waiting for a sprocket from Talon UK, I had removed the chain. Bit later on, tried to start it for bloody hours! Then at burn it stage thoughts, I saw the front sprocket turn as I kicked it for the last time! It was in gear!
What a dickhead!
Put in neatral, and of course it started!
Grrrrrrrrrrrr
