if im right i mean that the mc28 has 62mm. So you must have a Adaption for the Brembos.

I wanted to look into this. I am pretty sure I've seen various hondas (CB,CBR,etc.) in tokyo with gold brembo calipers. I believe spacing is 65mm for brembo and I had measured ~62.5mm on MC28 lower mounts. anyone confirm this?

no, they would need an adaptor plate to fit.

Dudes chill, i was just going by what i was told in the RVF section on 400greybike, i read on there that 65mm Brembos bolt straight onto the RVF and with the RVF having the same bolt spacing as the MC28 i assumed...

i bought the adaptor plates from Jamies site to fit Brembos onto my 21 i measured the pistons and the Brembos are about 1mm bigger and weighed the calpers and over all the Brembos were a wee bit lighter, so not a massive performance upgrade but they will look nice Wink

found out some more info : you are right Brembos will not bolt directly onto a MC28 but Brembo make an adaptor plate for the RC45 so that you can fit 40mm pitch Brembos to it, and with this adaptor Brembos on a 28 as (i am told) the PCD is the same as the 45.

sorry for the confusion.

Don't let it happen again or Tom Hofton will come over to your house and give you an atomic wedgie. (Mind you there's a hell of a difference between a standard wedgie and the atomic variety). Wink

I have this brilliant idea of hogging out the mount hole(s) on the lowers to make 65mm pitch brembos fit. anyone have a lower to donate to science?

i think the holes on the bottom of the fork leg are threaded so you would have to tap them again.

MC28's have the threads in the calipers, and the forks are just a straight hole with no threads. MC21's are opposite.
