Very Happy you can get an age relation cert form a couple of places in the uk for about £25. you should find someone in the mcn classifieds. Cool

I had to do this with mine earlier this year.

You need to write to Honda UK with your frame number and a cheque for £30 (ish) and they tell you what year it was made.

You then need to get it insured and MOT'd on the frame number, then fill in a V55/5 form from the DVLA and send it off with the following...

MOT
Insurance policy
V55/5
Proof of age
cheque for a years road tax and registration fee (about £60 if I remember correctly).

Hope that helps.

Wink

I just did it too with a Jap import with no documents (nightmare Sad ). If you have all the German registration docs you wont need proof for the year of manufacture.

If the German docs show the age, which they should, you shouldnt really have any need for the certificate. Has it been registered in Germany for road use?? If so it will have a V5, like ours in the UK I assume???

I managed to get a letter from a local Honda dealer for free confirming the age of my MC21, so chance it with locals first before forking out £30 to Honda UK for a bit of paper!
