WANTED - MC21 inlet manifold...

Wed Aug 31, 2005 9:36 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Wanted, MC18 or MC21 inlet manifold - preferably MC21.

One of the rubber boots that connects to the boost bottle has split on mine, and the superglue can only last so long before disaster strikes!! Shocked

I'd say about US$5! Wink

Do you have one? I'll offer $20 for an MC18 (I'd need to modify it and risk buggering it up!) or $30 for an MC21 manifold.

Maybe I'm confussed on the part you are looking for. Is it the rubber part that the carbs also go into?

That's the one.

The MC18 manifold has rubber "tabs" that protrude into the reed cages, whereas the MC21 manifold is flush, allowing fitment of the HRC rectifiers.

That's the bit!

The black rubbery bit, with the yellowy-brown plastic bottles sticking out the top - if you want to get technical! Wink

I took off the part and took some more pic's of it. I don't know if you saw them (they were being up loaded). I looked in the parts manual it doesn't show the white reed stuffer are they stock? Check pic's

Those are the stock intake rectifiers/reed stuffers for the MC21.
