Is there anyway you can modify the stock reed stuffers, or is it better to get HRC ones?

Also, what are the pro's and con's of fitting modified ones over stock? How do they effect the engines power characteristics?

Unless you are a genius, I'd suggest going the easy route and buying the Tyga / HRC ones.

The alledgedly improve the power delivery by maintaining the velocity of the intake charge.

They aren't expensive, and I have them on mine, but as for measurable difference? I dunno, they went on whilst I de-restricted so it's impossible to say.

Well thats also kind of my question, how would they need modifying?!

If I knew what needed doing to improve them, then I'm quite happy to do it. How much are the HRC ones then? (approx).
