thx to all that replied to my problem.....2 days later my bike was stolen Sad
well gutted , i thought id never she it again , so i decieded i would put up some REWARD posters and wait to c what happens....well what do u know 2 days after my birthday i get this phone call from a NOB stating he has just bought my bike for 300 pounds from a guy in a pub..yea right.
strangest ting is that there isnot a scratch on it..perfect condition except for wires dangeling from the ignition ,they ripped my allam system from the back of the bike and they seem to have soldered some wires together at the junction box under the seat.
so can any 1 help with a wiring diagram for my much loved mc18 89 model.

i can provide clear pictures of the damage if you are interested..
please help me restore order to the chaos and get back on the road

my email ad is :longtrain5@hotmail.com

hey

how's it going? i'm just a newbie, but i have encountered a similar problem and have been able to fix it. the problem with mine was that it was flooding out major big time, it was blowing fuel right out the tail pipe of the cylinder which was not working. was able to source it to the carburetors... where i found that the main jet had backed itself out, and was just sitting in the float bowl! Evil or Very Mad once it was tightened up again, problem solved. i made sure to check the other one at the same time. a good way to check if the problem is that it's flooding is to turn the fuel off and run it, and if the second cylinder starts firing just before it runs out of fuel, it's probably the same problem as i had or something similar.

hope this helps
have a good one Very Happy

josh
