wonder if anybodys ever come accross a restricted 16?
my mates just got hold of an mc16. revs lovley and clean all
through the rev range,untill it hits about 130kmh.then it just goes flat.the bike revs all the way to the red line,in any gear untill it hits about 130kmh.the valves are set up properly,carbs been cleaned and checked,and the plugs are the right colour.
any ideas anyone?,cos were stumped.

as andys always telling me, the only things restricting thr MC16 are the small carbs, small exhast port, ign system, exhast pipes. apart from that its not restricted

i know the 16s wernt supposed to be restricted jeff.
i just wanted to know if anybody had come across one thats restricted before.(there cant of been any still in showrooms
in japan,when the law changed,can there?)ive got a 16 myself,
ok its got 18 carbs barrels,heads and exhausts.but even in old trim it would rev to the red line in every gear.my mates hits 130kmh and just goes flat.but it feels as if its.an artificial limit.the engines pulling fine and strong untill it hits 130 kmh
