Tue Jan 27, 2026 4:01 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Evening all,
Before closing my mc21 engine I'd like to as
how run out can the crank have?
I seem to have 1mm measured on both ends of the crank,
Nobody hear (Rome) who knows how to fettle or balance a two stroke crank..

Attached is a screenshot from the service manual which shows you where to measure and how much runout is allowed. Im hoping the values you measured are in error as that is too much.

Sorry, my typing error..
I meant roughly 0.01 run out measured, maybe a tiny bit more.
