Checked partslist (Thanks NSR-world for that) and saw that there are part number differences. Can anyone confirm if they are same or different. I'm considering working on fitting an Ohlins NIX-22 cartridge into the NSR250 forks.

Does anyone know if there are overall length differences between 18/21/28 forks? Much thanks.

I think the only major difference is the MC21 forks benefits from having adjustable rebound

If I remember correctly, the mc18 88 and 89 year are different lengths. The 89 year forks are taller than the 88 R2J forks.

88/89 year fork lowers have two pinch bolts whereas the MC21’s have one pinch bolt.

Thanks for info. Anyone know if caliper mounts differ between MC18 and 21? Considering mounting up brembo 40mm calipers.

MC18 and MC21 caliper mounts are the same.
