HRM ECU UNIT for nsr 250 mc21 mc18r5k

Thu Nov 29, 2018 10:41 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hallo i am new in the forum
My name is john

I have learned that, someone in GREECE has made it an electronic unit
for nsr 250 mc21 mc18r5k and name it (ΗRΜ Ι)normal 52HP (ΗRΜ ΙΙ)sp62HP (ΗRΜ III)TTF3 72HP
and shows this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwljPTM-awE&t=26s

and this is the advertising.

e.c.u. unit Only For
Honda nsr 250 mc21 for all models 1990-93. Honda nsr 250 mc18 r5k only.
It can be placed as the original.
It snaps into the connectors of the motorcycle without cutting the original cables.
Manufactured in three versions
ΗRΜ Ι Normal 52 HP
ΗRΜ ΙΙ SP62 HP
ΗRΜ III TT-F3 72 HP
The final tests of the ECU UNIT occurred with a motorcycle dynamometer with adjustable carburetors using unleaded gas 95 octane rating, 20 Celsius and 40% humidity.
The motorcycle that was used: NSR 250 mc21-mc18 as manufactured by Honda without adjustments to the exhaust system, kit, carburetor etc.
Tests showed great flexibility, from 1.500 RPM engine speed up to 13.000 RPM with better acceleration throttle from PGM-II/PGM-III
Technical Characteristics:
Operating voltage from 10 volts up to 21 volts.
Not destroyed as the PGM-II/PGM-III.
Not destroyed by a burnt regulator.
Manages the RC VALVE/TPS/ELECTRO VALVES CARBURATOR/OIL PUMP.

has anyone tried it this ECU to tell me if the works aright this unit ?

Greetings John,

I have installed one of these units in my NSR MC21 bike. The HRM III TT-F3. The Transformation of my bike is far better than any expectations i had.
I have a stock mc21 engine with HRC carbs kit and JHA exhausts and when i went to the dyno i had 68hp. I 've installed the ecu about a year ago and so far i haven't got any kind of problems with it. The Bike runs fantastic.

Good Evening John,

You can call me Giorgos. I am Greek as well.
Don't worry about spending your money the wrong way with this product. When you install it one thing is for sure you will sell your PGM III cause its technology is 20 years old. I had second thoughts before buying it myself. And some of my 2stroke friends here were making fun saying that its a waste of money and Honda knows best. Well Honda is Number one but stopped working with 2 strokes almost 20 years ago. And the technology since then has changed. The guy that build the ECU is working with electronics for more than 30 years and as far as i know owns Honda NSRs for 30 years. In the past he was involved with racing cars and bikes so he knows what he is doing.
John when you put the ECU on your bike and you are in Athens we can arrange for a ride and coffee. I have a couple of 2 stroke friends that we ride once or twice a month and its a blast.

Does anyone really know what this unit does? Seems to me an mc21 with a working PGM and the wire splice is about as easy as can get. I realize this might be a good alternative to a failed PGM.
