Is it possible to tell from this damaged sticker what colour scheme to the bike was originally?

Yes. My parts book shows R-109 code as a 21r with red wheels and red fairings with black stripes.

The front of the parts book has pictures of the various models with the codes underneath.

The MC21 and MC28 Online Parts Manual has been updated with these details.

The "L" in the circle is the Model Year (1990), which corresponds to only one colour scheme associated with the code R-109. If the colour had been NH-196, however, you'd be in trouble! (There are more than one.)

Ciao,

That code tells you what the original fairings were associated with that subframe, keep in mind they are old bikes and parts may have been swapped out before.

Thanks, well either the subframe or the wheels and forks have been changed at some point in its life as subframe points to type 3 as above and wheels and forks are type 4

Hello. I've been trying to figure out how to use the manual to find my factory colors but I don't see it. Can somebody show me where to find it? Thanks.

NSR250R8N
Color NH 196
Code NH 196 KA

Thanks
