NX5 Radiator

Tue Jul 26, 2016 8:26 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am looking at getting a new radiator made for my nx5, it runs a bit hot during the summer. It is 54mm front to back, is that the standard radiator? Or kit? - seems quite thick for standard?
If anyone has recently had one made, I would like to hear about it.

Racer38 is in the process of having a radiator made for his '94 NX5. I'm sure he'll be along to comment soon.

I'm having one made at the moment with GMX radiators. It's been a bit painful to be honest, as he has struggled to get the thin triple cores. I've gone thicker twin core instead. I've just got back from holiday, so not sure where they are at, but will update you once I've spoken to him.

Cost is about £500.

The other people are Bora, but couldn't find any contact details for them so went to GMX.

Any luck with the Radiator? What thickness have you gone for? I want to get one started before the winter, as it sounds like it could take a while.
