Hello all

My name is Jasper 54 years old! Yes old. and i live in the Netherlands.I like 2strokes, iam the proud owner of a rd350 and mito125.
I bought a several years ago a Nsr 250 mc16 in four boxes found in a shed, last year i begon with the rebuild,it was for 60% complete
but no wiring harnas,no fuel tank, cockpit, bodywork, carbs ,inlet etc.
Now after a several months its running again, i replaced the swingarm from a yamaha SZR and the front fork from ZX6R with radial brakes, the wheels from a CBR600 so its a project, the meaning of this project is to make a look alike from the nsr500 from Mick Doohan , in the
Rothmans colors. I replaced the original carbs for 2 seperate 32mm carbs, and its runs well, with open air filters.
The only thing thats not working is the powervalve system, i tested the electric motor, thats ok and i think the powervalve controlbox is not working
Maybe someone on this forum, knows more about it.
Now i try to place some pictures

Hello Jasper, and welcome to NSR-WORLD!

That's one wacky MC16 you have there! Very Happy

While I personally like them stock, it's really interesting to see one modded so much! Wink

Hopefully you can pick up another RC Valve controller easily and get the powervalves working again. Try a "wanted" advert in our Classifieds section, and also keep an eye on the popular auction sites. A 1987 controller shouldn't be too expensive.
