My NSR250SP MC21

Bought this a couple of months ago and have to say I'm really happy with it so far. Few things I want to sort out though which is getting the paintwork Dream Machined and getting a few brackets and fasteners re-plated or painted.

Right after a fellow member contacted me I've decided not to paint the original panels but buy a good chinese set instead for normal use and the odd track day. That way I can put it back to standard if I need to in the future.

I'm planning on attacking the blemishes on the rough cast areas of the frame and wondered what was the best thing to use. I have some scotchbright pads in different levels of coarseness but wondered what was the best thing to use with them. WD40 or Petrol?
