NXA crankcases are still available from Honda if you have deep pockets... £2775 a set.

None in stock everywhere I checked!
Honda UK, HRC Japan, USA, Canada, Australia, New-Zealand, Europe!
No more cylinders since a few years as well and recently no more crankshafts...all sold out!
For a motorcycle that was sold all the way up till 2009, thank you Honda!
If I don't find a solution, I'll remember this for a long time!

The last time I checked cranks were still available from Honda?

There is defiantly stock left even if production has completely stopped.

Crankcases and cranks both show as "available for sale" on the Honda system, as of 23:14 on 22/10/2014, however both are showing as zero stock, and whether any more will be produced only someone at Honda Japan will know!

What I can say though, is that when within the last 3 weeks (since my last post), someone has bought [what I assume were] the last set of cases shown on the system.

I wonder if those cases will end up in the Midlands somewhere, Eh Simon?

That's a surprise

plus barrels and a fresh crank in the bike. That's a comfortable position to be in.

Wish I'd picked up some cylinders last year when I had the chance. Embarassed Sad

Wish I had a spare set of crank cases but I guess you can't have everything .... trouble is now, you never know when the last parts in existence are going to disappear.

NXA crankcases

Tue Nov 18, 2014 9:05 pm » Post: #11 » Download Post

Found a solution for my broken NXA crankcases...a beautiful '05 5KE TZ 250 (less than 600 miles total), tons of spares, Marvic forged magnesium wheels, VHM heads, revalved suspension...enough pistons, cranks and crankcases for the next 5 years.
Would like to post a photo but don't know how!

Still looking for a set of crankcases for my NXA though...it will make an excellent rain bike!

Well, that should stop them breaking again... It's just that badge on the tank. Oh, and the four cables for two power valves Wink

How bad are your cases? Could they be welded? What happened, did the crank let go?
