Corrections Workshop Manual

Thu May 01, 2014 7:43 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

On page 1-7 I reckon a few items need correction:

Heading should be "Cylinder Head / Cylinder".

"Piston ring-to-ring groove clearance" with 0.039 - 0.045 mm should say "piston-to-cylinder clearance"

There is an entry with "19.004 - 19.014" but no label. I think that should be labelled "Connecting rod small end I.D."

I think this entry has a dash in the Service Limit column because Honda considers the conrod not to be servicable but from comparing this with the specs of other Honda two-strokes, this value should be 19.03.

Page 8-6:

The row/column labels in the piston/cylinder table should be exchanged (.i.e. cylinders are in the rows, pistons are in the columns).

Wouldn't it be nice if the makers of the manual added a corrigendum with all the errors found in the manual up to now and if this corrigendum would be available for download for those that already have the manual?
