Anyone fancy another?

Thu Aug 01, 2013 6:38 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

As No Limits have just pointed out, in 13 weeks time it will be November Shocked

Does anyone fancy hooking up for another track day before we strip them for winter?

If so any preference, Oulton? Cadwell? Brands?

My personal preference would be Oulton.

I would but I just can't run to it right now.

Got a few engines going out this month so maybe in the future.

I am in no rush, mid to late Sept would be good for me, will keep my eye out and add some suggestions.

I enjoyed Tuesday so much that I can't leave it at that for 2013.

I wouldn't mind Brands or Donington again. I would rather Donington just because I know it better.

Forgot about Brands, at least we would be equal on travelling time, it's quite a jaunt from south west brummy land Laughing

And yes I would prefer Donny above all as I know it best too, was just trying to ring the changes.

Done Brands once, enjoyed it but crashed going to quick for my circuit knowledge, ran out of road on the entrance to Sheene ... Uphill blind entrance to a right hander if I remember right ... Bit like coppice. Bike pinned me to the gravel trap and the session was red flagged Laughing

Thats irrelevant I would have another crack at it ... It's a great circuit Very Happy

Nice hotel in grounds too which makes for a good pre event chinwag and a fantastic Indian restaurant about 2 miles away ... Pukka food.

Yes the more I think of it, it could be a great venue!

Worth remembering MSV are 102Db Static!

Booked Oulton last Sept and never made it past unloading the RS and the first session noise test.

Got some longer end cans since and some guys there with NX5's running standard exhaust passed and were riding.

I can vouch for that track, it's good!

Done it twice and a 250 will definitely not embarrass itself round there. International with part of the banking is best IMO

RAF Valley Sept 28th/29th £100 for 2 days and NO noise limit, Well if your bike is louder than a Tornado jet you might get in trouble

Great weekend away, very very friendly, just get on your bike and ride. A55 all the way there

Have a look on Face book for RAF Valley charity track days Smile
