Gutted, lost out on a bike!

Sat Mar 16, 2013 9:59 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all
I joined the forum last week as I was going to buy my first MC21 dream bike from Jonmac but got gazumped in the last minute Sad .
Totally gutted today. He wanted £2500 and I had £2500 so agreed to not knock him down at all and pay full price. Was due to pick up this morning but he had another offer yesterday from someone else for £2750. I'm gutted as I couldn't go any higher and in some respect I cant blame john as money is money but it still hurts.
No hard feelings to Jon as he did message me to explain.
So If anyone else is selling their MC21 or 28 can you drop me a message.
Many thanks
Vic

Thanks Les
I just wish I could have gone higher now as I'm just feeling blah/yuk today.
I wanted to build a Wayne Gardner replica and thus a Tyga body kit NSR would have fitted the bill.
I have always wanted an NSR but never had one in 28 years of bike ownership.
I currently have a 1991 GSXR750M and a very trick Honda Hornet 900 streetfighter as my road bikes. I love 250 two strokes as I used to race them in the late 80's early 90's.
The last replica bike I built was a R6 Rossi replica.
Just need to keep an eye out for an NSR that is a good base line bike.
Cheers vic.

ps you can see my old R6 here: http://www.r6ers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7316&sid=8215f0d529e10920ff9f448ac7fbd32e

I removed the post in Classifieds and locked the topic, as the bike's sold. I don't allow discussion in Classifieds unless it's directly related to the sale of items, as it falsely "bumps" the thread to the top, pushing down other posts.

I consider it unfair to other Classifieds users if their threads are pushed down by unrelated chit-chat.

I have seen that bike in the flesh Simon, it's a dog,in my opinion, especially for the money.
