Hi Guys;

My name is Eddie or forum name Edd. I am not new to two strokes have a nice collection of Yamahas wont bore you guys with that lot. English is not my first language so please bear with me. I have recently at a track day purchased an mc 21 with HRC Pipes, Barrel and Heads. They have done some changes to the carbs as well it is running 100ll fuel.

The bike is slightly rich at 5000 rpm and she is leaking fuel whilst stationary. I want to set the float levels before I do any jetting changes because I am at altitude 1200m amsl. I need to know the distance below or above float bowl to set the floats correctly. I am also new to keihin carbs only know mikuni carbs.

Edd

Float height is 13mm

You have to fall back to the MC16 specs on that page to find it.

Some relevant threads:

Hope that helps.

Hi;

Thanks for that greatly appreciated will set floats over the weekend. A few questions the slow jet is that the same as a mikuni pilot jet and the power jet is that situated in the carb body and which one is it.
