PGM-II wire splice

Sat Feb 23, 2013 6:57 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I am about to attempt the wire splice on MY PGM-II but i have notice from the wiring diagrams that the orange/blue wire connects to the green earth circuit in the harness and the black/white wire is connected to the kill switch circuit. when the O/blue is splice to the black/white circuit it will now become live when the kill switch is on, does anyone know if is this correct??, i dont wont to cook my PGM-II.

When you do the wire spice, what you are doing is raising the Orange/Blue input into the PGM from 0 Volts (earth) to 12 Volts.
Thats all.
Does that ease your worries?
I think you might be thinking about it wrong somehow?
