I mailed them asking if they'd take my RVF4 in part ex, they asked for some pics so I've sent a few, we'll see what they say.
I'd really like it but my RVF is worth at least £3300 privately and would be £4k+ in their showroom.

I had presumed the MC28 was properly mint, clearly it's not. I've asked where the proper rearsets are in my mail back and pointed out it's £700 MORE than it would have been brand new but I don't mind taking a bit of a loss, obviously showrooms don't run themselves for free, Rothmans '28 sp's don't come along every day and a year warrantee on any 2/ is a brave move.

Dunno, max350lc reckons its worth £3500, anyone else want to value it?

Just bear in mint Fontyyy that it's obviously been down the road heavily enough to push the left footrest hangar into the swingarm, hence the aftermarket rear-sets and the gouge in the Pro-Arm.

Ask them if the still warranty covers you if you have the frame checked and it turns out bent! (Unlikely, but a possibility.)

Cheers Andy for that little point.

So guys, what I'm going to ask next (of them) apart from is it guaranteed to be straight is if the bodywork is "proper" sp or just a Rothmans job done somewhere. What I need to know is were they painted originally or is it all supposed to be decals like a "normal" Honda job?

And they offered £3k for my RVF. Round at Monkey's last night that was the lowest I said I'd go BEFORE I saw the damage posted here.
As Lando Calrissian said "this deal is getting worse all the time"

Opinions?
