mc21/28 clutch plates ?????

can anyone tell me if the 21 and 28 sp clutch plates are the same

just looked on the parts manual and they are different part numbers so i assume they are different

my next question is does anyone have a old 28 sp fibre plate they could send me at my cost of course

the reason i ask is i am having trouble getting plates for my vj23 and have been told they are the same as the 28 items so would be good to know if this is true

The MC21 and MC28 dry clutch plates are the same Nigel. Although the numbers are different, that is often just a superseded part number.

i ve been waiting 12 weeks for thw 23 plates from suzuki and there still on back order so i am hoping it works
