Just completed a top end rebuild on my MC21 and want to check the RC valves adjustment.
I put back the battery, PGM and plugged in most of the electrical gubbins and switched the engine cut switch to 'ON'. When I turn the key, the instrument lights do the right thing but the RC valves don't do their whirring and buzzing thing.
I haven't got the lights and indicators plugged in but I do have the following plugged in, have I missed anythinng?
-sidestand switch
-kill switch
-PGM
-the red and the white underseat connectors
-oil reservoir
-left hand electrics (lights and indicator switches)
-carbs
-ignition key
-oil injector
-water pump

Any ideas how I can diagnose this?

Sorry I fixed it.

Got out the voltmeter and circuit diagram, started going over it. Couldn't find anything wrong. Put it back together and it works. I think.

Yeh! I think the Gremlins are in my head, not in the bike though.
