Would stainless steel bolts be a suitable replacement for oem caliper mounting bolts?

We're talking caliper to fork bottom.

im sure i read recently that your not supposed to use stainless in that application due to stress, dont see the problem if like yours its a track bike and you have the calipers on and off and can therefore keep an eye on them.

Don't think its a good idea to use stainless steel bolts for brake caliper mountings , Some stainless has very poor tensile strength.
I have a neighbour who bolted a flywheel to the crank on his car with stainless bolts , he didn't make it to the bottom of the road .
Sometimes its better to use OEM parts. Just my opinion

Been using stainless bolts for years on brake caliper mountings. On my NSR racer too, and I like to brake heavily..
