nsr mc 21 to mc18

hi fellas...my question here is: can i install a full bodykit fairing of an NSR MC21 to my 88 MC18? does the bodykit fits or will i need to make any modifications?

It won't just fit and it will look odd, the mc18 is quite a lot narrower.

The MC18 chassis is very different to a MC21. The '18 uses much wider beams and a narrower overall frame.

Both handle really well even if the '21 is a little more developed. Both can be ridden hard. In places a '18 chassis will struggle where a '21 wont but its also the opposite in some conditions too.

last question please.i was thinking of byuing a MC16 also...how about that? can i fit a MC18 OR MC21 bodykit fairing to that or is the same situation as above?

i've fitted MC-21 fairing and GP seat unit to my MC-18. you have to make some new brackets from frame to fairing witch i
did with a strip of alluminium from B@Q diy store. bent to shape in a vice then drilled and tapped it out. seat unit was a bit more
tricky as you have to make again new brackets off the sub frame to get it to sit right. it needs to go more forward and lower down. the cost involved once you get ya fairing + seat unit is nothing. just a few quid for the alloy strip. looks mint tho now finished.
