Breaking MC21 SP

Tue Feb 22, 2005 9:19 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all, I am having to break up my MC21 with some SP parts left. I have a fully rebuilt MC21SP engine and all related parts, carbs etc.

New baby on the way!!!

This is a full bike so all parts available, not all are good though but email me your requirements and I will help you as much as possible.

So heres what I have:

SP rear shock, needs rebuilt. No nitrogen or oil charge, stripped for rebuilding.

RS250 Magtek rear wheel, direct replacement for standard. Needs paint but perfectly straight.

Standard "R" spec forks and rear shock, both good cond.

All MC28 bodywork in newly pianted Rothmans colours. Seat unit slight crack, no scrapes.

JHA chambers and silencers, bit rusty but not bad. Silencers have some crash damage.

Standard front and rear wheels, tiny ding in both, need paint. Including discs (all fine) and worn GPR70's

All electrical parts, PGM3, reg, R/C valve servo etc All working fine.

Frame and swinger, not registered (import) but perfect for racing. I have all import docs with frame and engine numbers etc. VAT and duty paid.

SP engine:
Nearly finished. New rings top and bottom, new small end bearings and piston pins using new circlips also. New gaskets everywhere, all oil seals replaced, new crank seals and circlips. New water pump shaft and all seals replaced (original reason for rebuilding). Power valves removed, cleaned and replaced using all new seals and e-rings.A lot of time spent on this, will be like a new engine! I cant think of anything else that has been done, just base it as all seals, gaskets, top end stuff etc. It didnt need pistons, very little wear at all even on the old rings. I have pictures of the engine as work has progressed. This will be a scorcher. All genuine Honda parts used throughout, even Honda branded NGK BR9ECM plugs included!

Im sure there parts I havnt mentioned but please email me with requirements.....
