decal glue

just wondering how to get rid of the glue under the decals without taking any of the paint off, any advice would be great.

You should have used a hairdryer when you were taking the stickers off, the heat sofens the glue and they come off alot easier without leaving the glue behind. Also found that meths got rid of any glue that was left behind.

I use a product called goo-gone, or if you have a surf shop in your local area, you can get a product that is used to remove the wax that you lay down on your board to help with traction while in the water.

Both remove the sticky stuff, and don't harm the finish at all.

Panel wipe/spirit wipe,we use it on car panels to degrease before painting,get it from any auto factors and try white spirit ,its the same as panel wipe(almost) Wink
