If you Join the VJMC motorcycle club you can get a great discount at Footman James.

This year I`ve paid £165 for fully comp agreed value for ALL the following:

NSR 250 MC 18
NSR 250 MC21
TDR 250 x2
TZR 250 3MA
XT 600.

You have to be a member of the VJMC as they`ll ask you for your membership number.

Yes I`m afraid I`m an old git too at 41.

The VJMC is the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club they have a web site to look at, they mainly cater for bikes over 15 years old, but once your a member you can benefit from the discounted insurance at Footman James.

I`m sure it would be worth giving Footman James a ring to see before you commit yourslf to joining.

I'm starting to become an old fart at 30, but I'm with CIA Insurance, 08702444777, and I pay £316 fully comp which was considerably cheaper than anyone of about the 30 companies I tried. London postcode and I've declared every single mod that the bike has too!

Ive had quite a few insurance companies but the one im using now is Carole Nash. Ive got 21 bikes insured with them right now and that only comes to £960, fully comp on some tpft on others. I cant remember how much the NSR is but £310 of that was the RC45. I've only just turned 25 so i think they really can do some good deals. Ive been with them 5 years now.

Sounds terrible to me.

I have 2 TT99 6 month bans under my belt and Benetts hit me for just under £250 for 4 bikes, TPF&T and I'm not an old fart yet - still the right side of 35 !!

Shopping around is a really good move.

Very Happy
