I made tentative enquiries about the smoker 500's, but was told that most had gone to private collectors or the crusher. Not available to Matto San!

Alex Crivelle is rumoured to have a 500 V4 too.

Wonder if they gave Rossi one? If they did, I bet they took it back when he switched sides!! Laughing

I want to know where all the V2's are?
I mean, they're no use to race,
Confused A dealer had a new one for £25k last summer.

I can dream about selling all my bikes and getting one... Wink

Hmm, I know someone thinking exactly the same thing!

They are around. Padgetts had 2 for sale a couple of years ago.

Scott Vorreyer (a Forum member) has a friend in California that owns two. He's ridden one and written an article about the experience for the Website too. I just haven't had time to publish it yet as I've been busy working on other areas of the Site!

So, what's the delio on Padgetts and 500's? their website had nothing about it.

You never know what I might do if the opprotunity came up!

I have to admit Charles, I've not seen a 500 V-twin for sale for a couple of years now, but they are out there!

If memory serves me correct, they were advertised at about UK£17,500 each inc. some spares!

They also had a ROC Yamaha V4 for similar money! I know it was a Yam', but it was a V4! Smile

I could speak with Clive Padgett on Monday if you want Charles and see what he has availiable. He deals in HRC and Yam spares so may well know who owns what in the UK.

Padgetts are ALWAYS expensive.
I mean, I know the 250LC's they have are new, but £5k? Come on!

As I said, the V2's bombed, they are useless to any racer wanting to be on the pace.
You OUGHT to be able to find a minter for £12-15k, with spares.
I'd seriously consider selling a bike or two to scare up that sort of price. Surprised
I mean, isn't an R1 £10k?
