iv seen speedo face plates/stickers that are multi fit that are marked with both mph and kph
you will need to pull the speedo apart and its been a while since ive seen them but thats the easyest way.
otherwise i have a local company in sydney australia that can totaly rebuild it to read mph only using the original face plate im sure there is more than one company in the world that do this so there maybe someone closer to you

elmo, MC28's have a digital speedo.
Headman, if it bothers you that much, buy an aftermarket speedo, or catch up with the rest of the western world and use metric Razz

It wouldn't be easy, 2 wires run from the front sprocket pickup to the PGM-IV, the PGM controls the LCD display.

In theory it's illegal to ride in the UK without an MPH speedo but no one is going to ride the bike to find out.

Thanks fontyyy

The only person I am worried about is the MOT tester who usually rides the bike to the test bay.
I will have to arrange a test when its pouring with rain or try to distract him some other way .

Does anyone know if the PGM uses the speedo data for anything other than the speedo? If not, just use a conventional speedo healer then? No?

theres a quick fix i knew id seen them some were
also the company i was speaking of is called atspeed in stmarys n,s,w australia and they can recalibrate adjust and change kph /mph on almost any speedo weather its digital or cable but yes i would say they would need the pgm as well as that would be were the adjustments would be made.
good luck
