base setting on an SP shock

hurro all Very Happy
i am about to do the R spring on an SP shock conversion and wondered if any one had any base settings i can start from, like roughly how much thread do you have showing on your preload that kinda thing.

first thing you need to do is set the sag correctly (preload)
easiest thing to do is give me a ring and i ll explain

thanks nige will do, i am still trying to clean up the rear shock at the mo, i havent even taked the shock off my R as yet Embarassed.

i printed out all the sag set up from here months ago, befor i decided to do the spring swap.

once you got the sag set
i would start in the middle with both the comp/rebound settings and work from there

would be worth setting the sag on the front to when you start
