Penske shock instalation

Fri Apr 01, 2005 12:16 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Just thought you guys would want to know that this morning I offered up my Brand New $1000 Penske Shock up to my MC21 SP and found out that the upper eyelet on a Penske shock is 10mm. The upper shock bolt on a MC21 is a 12mm. Luckilly, I have a lathe and had to make bushings for the upper shock mount on the frame to accept a 10mm x 3'' bolt.
The bushings that are needed for this install is; .390 ID x .500 OD x 17mm length.
Just thought you guys would want to know. You would think Penske would have they`re shite together!

The one I had made for my 28 fits perfectly.
They pretty much custom build them anyway.
