Various parts (coming to England)

Thu Jan 20, 2005 2:07 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I live in Japan, but am coming to England/Germany in a couple of weeks, so here are a few things I've got lying around which I could bring if somebody was keen:

SP rear shock
MC21 rear shock
Stock rearsets
Headlight blanking panel (for the track)
Slightly worse for wear BEET rearsets for MC18, modified to also fit MC28
Fold up billet footpegs shaved at an angle, not sure what they would fit
MC21 Tank, badly hand-sprayed black, but otherwise OK (actually might keep this)
MC21 lower fairing in reasonable condition
MC21 wheels and rotors
HRC magnesium from wheel, gold
JHA? Chambers and endcans

If the price is right I could be persuaded to take parts off one of my bikes for you, then replace it when I get back, e.g. MC28 PGM with HRC card.

If I get a good enough offer for the RS250 engine, then I will break the RS250-engined MC21 advertised a few posts ago.

Julian

OK, I can only bring one big thing. I might look into the possibility of using an excess baggage company from the airport

drschneider, bringing the engine on two flights would be major trouble, and if you want other things with it, like the chambers, electrics, carbs then it would be far better to just send it by post, which I can do.

End Can: I couldn't manage the wheels/rotors and the tank. For the wheels and rotors I would ask 150 GBP. They're white, and I haven't looked carefully but the wheels don't look like they've seen much action. If you want the magnesium front wheel I would want more, and it comes with an ugly black paint job.

elz7173: I may have to hold off on the chambers and cans because the set I was going to keep feel different from the ones I was going to sell, so I want to dyno both sets and then decide which to keep. Sorry.

In general I have no idea what any of this stuff is worth, so I'm just totally making the prices up. I would really appreciate comments saying if it's too much or too little.

I would really like a tank for MC21/MC28 if possible. I have been trying for a while to get one but they all seem really expensive. How much woud you want for it?
