MC18 Breaking

Tue Jul 29, 2008 12:58 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi Guys,

I am breaking an MC18..

I will split the small stuff in time, but for now want to sell the big stuff - engine, carb's, wheels, frame etc etc

bike was road only - crashed 3 or 4 years ago and sat since - its fair from mint... engine was supposed to be rebuilt shortly prior to the crash (low speed low side) I bought it as a winter project that never got started... I did get the engine running with fresh petrol, fresh battery connected and about 3 kicks !! but can't say more than that as its not rideable currently.

Bushman has first dibs on engine, but you can pm me on offers if he doesn't get back to me..

I'm still trying to research what this stuff is worth - but pm me with offers on any of the major bits listed above and i will get back to you..

postage os req'd as I am in N ireland - only want to ship to UK.. funds cleared first etc etc

Mark.

Still looking for a fairing/screen brace if you have one? Confused Mk1 or Mk2... makes no odds! Smile

yikes... more interest than i imagined...

I'm not an NSR nut guys - so if someone can let me know how to identify the actual model - assuming from some of the questions there is a diference in the MC18s ??

Andy - From memory the fairing/screen brace is bent from the crash - but will check..

to the other guys - let me get this things stripped - I may need a handy to identidy some of the stuff regarding eth electrics/servo etc etc..

If the swingarm is plain square box section, then it will be Mk1, if the swingarm looks like it's made from the same shape extrusion as the frame and has a torque arm from the rear caliper to the frame, it will be a Mk2.

Mk2 CDI has PGM-II moulded into the black plastic cover - easily identifiable.

if you are after stuff - pm me..

also i'm really not sure on prices...

the outer casing of the PGM has marks on it - almost liik like heat blisters or something.. it was all wrapped up in thin spinge and plastic to protect it - just notice this last night.

pm me and we can work out stuff... also postage will have factored - i am in N ireland so collection coudl be difficult Smile
