I think you'll find 5th and 6th are closer on the '21 Dave.

Thought that I told everyone about R, SE and SP gearboxes!

The MC21 are all the same for all models.

The MC28 are all the same for all models.

The MC21 and 28 have the same 1, 2 and 3, but 4, 5 and 6 are longer on the MC28 than the MC21. This is probably a trick by Honda to make the 5 hp down MC28 accelerate away from the lights as quick as the MC21, and still retain the top speed.

However, in reality I think that it's a cunning plan by Honda to make the racers buy the 4th 5th and 6th gears cogs from an MC21 to shorten their 28 box up.

Nothing, the DIRCM system will automatically track the rocket motor, swing the laser head to bear and defeat the seeker head causing the missile to tumble out of control.

Should multiple threats overcome the limitations of the DIRCM system, then flares will automatically de dispersed in a controlled pattern according to the missile type and manouvering of the aircraft.

Next? Very Happy

So if fighters have such good counter measures, how come any get shot out of the sky at all? [mostly British planes taken out by American missiles! Wink ]

The Patriot is RADAR guided, not a heat seaker. They crew involved did not expect to get shot down, and knew they were over 'friendly' airspace, so did not react to the warning from the aircraft, as they expected it.

That incident was an equipment failure, and a comms breakdown by the American guys. Both lessons now learned.

The new DIRCM system is not yet available on all aircraft types - it's too new!

You find yourself in a Lynx, on your way to pick up a downed crewman from another Lynx outfit.

Unfortunately for you the fast movers arent around to support you, as there are a series of SA-20s nearby with some supporting 2s and 15s.

Somehow you have made it in-zone and want to pick up your package and leave.
