How do you flush the crankcase? what chemical should be used? It looks like I have some debris in my crankcase and I need to flush it out. Haven't found out where it came from yet.

i would strip the engine down and check everything. then clean it all up with petrol. take a good look at the crank, nsr wayne had a thrust washer break up, and it totaled this mc18 motor. make sure you find the problem and clean out all the debris before running the engine again.

yeh i will second that it onlt takes a tiny piece to total those nicasil bores i have a local diesel garage who has a "sonic cleaner" and a hot wash just like a twin tub for engine bits, sounds strange but i have never had bits so clean and the heat makes the bits dry with out any risk of corrosion, so have a word with your local engine reconditioners or the like and i am sure they will oblige, its worth it
