Spark Plugs

Sat Jun 02, 2007 11:15 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

The Mc21 is about done and I need to know what plugs i should be running. When i went to pick up a set of NGK's today, all they had were the BR8ECM. Is this plug too hot to run? Should i have him order me a set of the BR9ECM or the BR10ECM? Also what plug gap should i been running?
Thanks

It's fun to find but it is here
BR9ECM are the proper plug, .7 - .8mm gap, though I've never seen a plug be gapped wrong out of the box.

Well I've been having some trouble coming up on some spark plugs, but I did find a place that sells the BR9ECMIX (Iridium tips) Should these do the job?

www.sparkplugs.com is your friend.

Located in Southern California so they can have you plugs in a day or two from their shop.

I would also not spend the extra money on the super fancy ones. Just get the BR9ECM's. If they are going to get fouled, you might as well not be waisting more money then needed.
