strange noise

strange noise

took the bike out tonight after it being out of order for 3 weeks warmed it up and set off when i stopped at the lights and reved it a bit it sounded (the only way i can describe it) like a jet engine wooshing type of noise when it was reved i have no clue as to what the noise is has anyone had anything like it ?

yes mine made that same noise just before the r/h main bearing failed.....

i hope its not the case with yours mate.

it had a new crank 2500-3000 miles ago but you never know.............

is there any guarantee on new cranks andy ?

No reason why that shouldn't be good for 30,000 kms.

only asked you mate because you seem to deal with tyga a lot. dont think it will be the crank anyway. just speaking with roy and it came to me what it mite be will tell you when i have a look when it stops pissing down...........

Andy's got a good point there.

I've had quite a few NSRs that make a fierce whirring noise. Change the water pump bearing and seals and good to go.

The crank 'should' be ok. If it was a new 'un then you shouldn't be having problems with it, unless it was fitting by monkeys.
