I'd guess it not intended for an NSR at all as the petrol tank locating bung is left exposed, front looks like late RS, the rear may be as well, mine which is 2001 RS looks similar but not quite the same.
It wouldn't be the biggest job to cut the end off for a light, unless it is some Japanese RS style body for the NSR.

I like the fact that there is an undertray on the tail. Makes it look much cleaner.

The tail, upper and lower are all standard 2001 and newer RS250 body work.

http://www.nsr250.net/rocketracing/EQUIPMENT.htm
and here are a couple more pics of the body work
http://www.nsr250.net/rocketracing/Gallery/PICGALLERY.htm

You can get it from Magical Racing, Siebe Moto (or something like that I think) as well as a bunch of other suppliers. I like my Magical Racing. Shark Skin is nice as well.

Ah, your looking at the white one and not the other ones. The first link no worky for me, so I just went to the main site and figured the question was about the bike on the main page Embarassed

So yes, the bike in question does have a tail off a RS125.

Either way you will need to either modify the NSR subframe a good amount, or create a new one from scratch (based on the 125 subframe).

I checked out what it would take to use the RS250 tail on my MC28. Wouldnt take that much, but would take some modification.

GPC Moto (http://www.gpcmoto.com) can get JHA stuff. As can Redline Cycle imports (http://www.redline-ci.com/). Also, you can try Rising Sun Cycles (http://www.rscycles.com).

All three are here in the US.
