They (EBC) also do/did Prolite race discs (they've got dodgy blue middles and red rivits) and they're awesome, they turned me from complete pansy on the brakes into a bit better than average braker.
And we all know wavey discs are just one step away from purple screenbolts. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
If your looking for some custom discs with cast rotors, ISR sweeden will make a set up for you takes around 2 - 3 weeks from order, not cheap but then for an extra £30 - £50 a disc you get an awsome disc made for your bike, I remebr it was one of the things i was gona do before selling the bike and i was quoted around £180 / disc for Semi floating
Maybe, and Marco Melandri uses a Nolan helmet, I wonder why? _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
Race teams will fit whatever their sponsor gives / pays them to fit, it's no endorsment it pays the wages. _________________ If you dont like the way that i ride.....Stop trying to keep up!!!!!
You only have to look at the number of top racers wearing Alpinestars, yet they never come out top in the tests.
I think the wavey's look good but they are hard on pads. The design means there's a constant cleaning of the pad surface and that tends to wear them out quite quickly.
MC21 brakes in good service will stand it on it's nose without trying too hard, so like a steering damper, they're kinda cosmetic rather than a requirement.
But hey, it's your money mate, spend it how ya like! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Racers Alpinestars are made of Kangaroo (motogp anyway).
Protection is always going to be a compromise with strength and comfort.
As for the Galfer waveys I use them on my bike, the major advantage is weight, the bike now turns much quicker, initial bite is improved. Not had them long enough to measure brake pad wear. They look ace!
1990-1993 but I believe they (mc18,21 and 2 are all the same, mc21 and mc28 EBC discs have the same part number. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread

A front pair saved a whole 1KG over stock and the rear saved another 700 grams off the top of my head. Also remember it is rotating mass so the saving has even more benefit at high speed.
I sold a pair to a club racer and he said he was running over the inside curbs until he got used to the new turn in speed.
