Differences between RS250 'B' spec vs MC21 porting

I have inherited an RS250 motor by the looks of it - favour done, favour owed etc...

Can anyone help with the differences between the porting in the two engines...
I think they are similar - I am told the barrels are B spec.. what ever that means..

The simple answer is sit the two barrels side by side and you'll see the massive differences
