i only asked if they could do them and never got round to asking the price but they did say that chroming would be the best treatment for exhausts,im not going to get my stock ones done now im going to wait to martin makes some for sale and get them done.
I had these nickel plated no problems, same process as chrome, just one extra step for chrome plate. Chrome is going to be on the inside because they have too submerged them in a bath and it has to fill the inside too make them sink. Cost me about $100 USD, no polishing, just stripped the paint with light glass bead sand blast. I work in chrome for 7 years, nasty stuff, still deal with chrome platers to this day. Nickel held-up very well, looks just like a set of FMF pipes. http://www.dreamgate.ne.jp/nsr/bikemonth/jun03_00.jpg _________________
just got my pipes back from the chromer and they look awsome guy did a great job on them. cost NZ$200 (about 80 Pounds) for everything including polishing.
really
i thought powder coat was ok as it is heated to a million degrees when it is cured. _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax
